On June 17, Jan-Willem van Herpen's fragmentary portrait of Virginia Woolf was premiered by Annelies Van Hijfte (soprano) and Lana Bode (piano). This first performance of The Lonely Mind at the Clothworkers' Centenary Concert Hall at the University of Leeds can be watched here on YouTube. Before the concert, Jan-Willem van Herpen took part in a roundtable discussion with composers Richard Barnard and Jeremy Thurlow at the 26th Annual International Conference on Virginia Woolf at Leeds Trinity University.
